VIOMET SA has a design department equipped with state of the art hardware - software for three-dimensional modeling of metal structures (StruCAD V.15.5, Advance Steel 10, Prosteel 3D, AutoDesk Architectural Desktop 3.3 and 2004, AutoCAD). The three-dimensional modeling offers many advantages in the production process, from initial estimate of quantities of materials to the construction of a project, producing, in a fully automated way, a wide range of designs and reports.

Thus, the following are produced automatically:
- General designs such as floor plans, elevations, sections.
- Three-dimensional representation of the model.
- Lists of materials which are included for each item (member, specific piece or plate) marking the position in the model, weight and surface coating.
- Ability to group materials at each construction phase or type of marking.
- A detailed list of screws, bolts and thin-wall sections.
- Separation of materials for delivery at the factory or on site.
- Linking of CNC machines with automatic output of DSTV files.

The designing department is staffed with highly trained and skilled professional, which are able, at any moment, to reflect on behalf of the investor or any person, the details of the construction and the expected final aesthetic result.

Despite the excellent organization in this field, the company`s standard practice is not to intervene, unless is requested by them, at the work of responsible scientists-planners of the projects, but always to implement in full fidelity their designs.
